Individual Expressive Art Sessions in Nature

For Children, Teens, and Adults

Expressive art offers a space for creative expression, self-discovery, regulation, healing, and connection in nature. Through accessible art-making practices, participants explore their inner world in a non-judgmental environment that values all forms of communication and creativity.

Benefits include:

• Externalizing and expressing emotions

• Promoting self-awareness

• Identifying and building on strengths

• Expanding problem-solving, communication, and regulation resources

Neurodefiance: Expressive Art for Autistic Folks

A neuro-affirming space for autistic folks to come together to experiment with authentic self-expression through art-making and seek connection. Mixed media materials will be provided for participants to explore a theme provided or follow their own lead. You will find a supportive space to express yourself, practice unmasking, and connect with people who just get it. Intuitive art-making can inherently release stored emotions, but is not therapy. We gather with a shared understanding of community care as integral to healing, self-care, collective liberation, and neurodefiance: a commitment to challenge and resist systems that pathologize neurodivergence and expect conformity to neurotypical standards.
